Lab Tech
Summary of Position
Performs all tasks associated with the Calibration of Lab Equipment,
Monitoring and measurement of processes, Processing customer order
specifications, Troubleshooting Lab Instruments.
Qualifications
- Associate or technical degree preferred but not required, minimum
high School Diploma
- Substantial chemical operating experience, or demonstrates the
exceptional ability and willingness
to learn and a good work attitude.
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
- Above average skills with standard English grammar and spelling.
- Above average mathematical skills.
- Above average logical and organizational skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment with minimum

Plant Operator Overview
This individual will be responsible for operating and maintaining
process equipment in the facility. This includes the operation of
reactors, storage tanks, filters, lab tests and associated utilities.
Reporting to the Supervisor this individual will:
- Operate equipment per production procedures
- Complete production documentation
- Perform routine lab tests
- Troubleshoot process or equipment problems
- Maintain communication, oral & written, with operators, and
management.
- Have ability to climb stairs & ladders, walk, stoop, bend or stretch
to open valves, check
instrumentation & equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in humid conditions, non-weather related, as well as
working in production areas not
climate-controlled
Profile
- High school diploma or GED
- Aptitude for mechanical work
- Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds; lifting up to 1250 times
in an 8 hour shift
- Ability to learn how to drive a forklift
- Basic math skills
- Reliable Transportation to work
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts

Project
Leader / Chemist - Emulsion & Solution Polymers (3 positions)
- B.S. or
M.S. in Chemistry required. Specialization in polymer and/or emulsion
chemistry a
distinct advantage.
- The candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 industrial experience
in a Chemical Manufacturing or
R&D environment.
- Duties include providing Technical Support to Production Operations,
managing transfer of
technology from our Parent Company in Europe, together with some product
development
responsibilities for the US Market.
Production Manager
- B.S.
Chemical Engineering and Acrylate and Methacrylate monomer
manufacturing
experience desirable.
- Minimum 5 years in plant/production environment with 3 years in
production/supervisory environment
